About Me

I'm Donna, and I'm a chair caner and seat weaver in Wellfleet, Massachusetts. Growing up, I watched my mother teach chair caning for adult education classes and would often finish the projects she brought home for private clients. I have been involved in chair caning since 1986, continuing a family tradition that began with my great-grandmother in the 1920s.

Quality work and reasonable prices are policies, not mere goals. My clients are delighted with the transformation of a non-functioning item to a useable family heirloom. I'm pleased to be part of the continuing history of your chair.
